What is a SCORM file?

SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) defines how content may be packaged into a transferable ZIP file called "Package interchange format". This allows programs to write their code so that it can correlate with other e-learning software.

Specifically, SCORM governs how online learning content and Learning Management Software (LMS) communicate with each other.

Therefore, if you design e-learning content using tools such as Articulate or Captivate, SCORM will allow you to upload that content without changing the format or look of the file.

SkyPrep Premium and Enterprise support any SCORM 1.2 files.
